Invererne House is in the Highlands of Scotland at the mouth of the river Findhorn. It is just outside the town of Forres, in the county or Moray. To the North West is Culbin Forest, a unique ecosystem of sand dunes and pine trees, and to the North East is the beautiful Findhorn Bay, each are within four miles. Forres, a thriving town with lots of shops, is only a twenty-five minute walk away (you’ll pass the Benromach Distillery en route).
Getting there –
We meet residency participants in Edinburgh and drive together through the Cairngorm mountains to Moray (approximately three hours).
